Towanda clinched the NTL boys' tennis title Tuesday with their 6-1 win over Cowanesque Valley.

"I'm really proud of our guys," said Towanda coach Leo Harris. "Completing an undefeated NTL season in any sport is really a challenge. We continue to improve and face a tough Notre Dame team tonight."

In the first singles match, Towanda's Matt McNeal defeats C.V.'s Nathan Pickering 6-0, 6-2.

In the second singles, match Towanda's Tyler Basse defeats C.V.'s Jamie Colvin 6-3, 6-4. In the third singles match of the day, Towanda's Spencer Vazquez beats CV's Nick Caprio 6-2, 6-0.

In the fourth singles match of the day, Towanda's Anthony Vogel defeats CV's Alex Abbott 6-2, 6-1. In fifth singles, Towanda's Ryan Risch defeats CV's Ellijah Ace.

In the first doubles match of the day, Towanda's Demetrius Hill and Dalton Carey defeat CV's Noah Neal and Riley Thompson.

In the second doubles match, CV's Bryce Ianson and Sterling Jolly beat Towanda's Jonathan Hoffman and Chris Buckley6-4, 6-1.

CV will face Avoca today while Towanda takes on Notre Dame.
